Film and Video Umbrella commissions, curates and produces film, video and other moving-image works by artists which are presented in collaboration with galleries and other cultural partners across the UK.
Ranging from complex multi-screen installations to smaller-scale online commissions, and reflecting the full spectrum of film and video work by artists, Film and Video Umbrella projects are distinguished by their high production values and their commitment to ambition and innovation. This section features over 100 different artists’ commissions from the past fifteen years, alongside new works that are currently being exhibited across the country.
