Established in 1991 the association Bandits-Mages is a specialized and versatile structure in the field of the moving image and multi-media arts: Cinema, video art, digital territories, environments and facilities, networks, performances, ... Bandits-Mages focuses on three main objectives: > Production and research. Bandits-Mages offers artists a space of aesthetic freedom and research: a multimedia scalable performance studio, the Haïdouc Gallery, and a place of residence in the city centre. > Dissemination and promotion. Programming, conferences, debates, audiovisual and multimedia broadcasts, publishing, performance, environments, exhibitions ... A Biennial Festival including installations and performances, events and actions, projections. > Training and awareness. Activities designed to raise awareness of the history of the moving image, from experimental cinema to the internet. Bandits-Mages offers a comprehensive educational project that promotes a partnership with schools, art schools, neighbourhoods... |
